Law The Trump administration is pushing courts to make more ‘new law’

Did i say you wont be on yellows during the midterms? You will. You might even be banned by then.

This idiot thinks he can predict that someone will be on yellows 13 months in the future.

We're on our way to authoritarianism if the SCOTUS sides with Trump in this power grab. You'd think they realize the importance of the Separation of Powers but they've made some rulings that seem baffling to me.

They already side with him. There is this big fraudulent misconception that John Roberts is more moderate than Clarence Thomas, or Alito. He's not as rhetorically inflammatory, however this is HIS baby. He buys into the Curtis Yarvin sort of notion that the Executive Branch should be the "strongest" branch. He does NOT subscribe to the notion of the Founding Fathers that the branches of Government should have a contentious relationship with each other. But this is right wing politics in practice. Rightism is based on heriarchical thinking. Thus, one branch must be the boss, the other branches must submit.

It is not creating new laws, it is simply confirming the power of the executive branch and its powers under the constitution.

Is the president not the commander and chief of the military? The chief executive of the executive branch? The chief magistrate and law enforcement officer? Chief diplomat?

There is NOTHING constitutional about this crap. Nothing at all.

I've figured it out.

It comes down to Conservatives realizing time is against them. Younger generations and immigrants are leaning more towards Democrats, while the core Republican "reliable" voter base is growing old and dying. The Republican party did get a new Latino voter base, but they are far more progressive and support immigration/abortion/socialized medicine.

The core republican beliefs are doomed to die a slow, painful death over the coming decades. And rather than let nature take its course and adapt, they are choosing to take this one chance they have to grab power via the authoritarian route.
I thought this was common knowledge. This is why they made it a priority to pack courts and gerrymander. Minority rule.

Generational damage done in less than a year.
I don't understand how pro-family MAGA can be okay with what these losers are doing to our country and their children's future. They are always saying they love kids but then they fuck over the economy and also want to install a dictator? Why is there no long-term thinking with these people? It's the most frustrating part to me.

Besides generally just being dumb, they also happen to be terrible human beings. Just look at the responses in the Somali aid thread.

LOL, your TDS is so bad you couldn't even quote my post. Concession accepted.

Concession of what? Your prediction that I'll be on yellows in 13 months? You may want to look up what the definition of concession is before trying to use it in a sentence.

Their hatred surpasses their intelligence.

You tell me, you are the one with yellows. Tell us where Trump hurt your feels.

Why would I tell you, when you're the one making the claim, and I'm the one questioning it?

You're not very good at this, are you? At least be entertaining if you can't be intelligent.

Pretty sure you get new laws with every President, with them being the "Top Law Maker" and all. Some noticeable, some not.

Clickbait gonna clickbait.
The president doesn't make laws. Congress does. The president just acts as the final check and balance, signing laws (with a veto to use against them, without a Congress supermajority).

That's the problem here. The president isn't supposed to be a "law maker" and MAGA can't accept that.
