I struggle with this kind of stuff. My brain sees a man with a wig, dressed like a woman and pretending to do a woman's voice.

At the same time, I fully believe that there is a genetic component at play in some people that feel like they are born into the wrong body. I do think there is gender dysmorphia and some people that simply have mental problems but I do think there's a genetic case and some people are simply born that way.

I'd say if they are qualified, I have no problem with it. I think the concern here is that some view Trans as a completely mental health issue and putting one in charge of health is a joke. The other concern I've seen is that this person promotes transitioning and hormones in children.

Again, I'm on the fence. I want to be open minded, progressive and inclusive but we are dealing with new territory here and it's hard to navigate.
