Never forget that Islam DOMINATED Volk

I think TS accomplished what he wanted to.
 
Islam won the fight, it was no robbery, he just won by fighting rather than entertaining the crowd.
 
He won a clear 48-47. But you're just trying to rile up the Volk fans so I'll leave you to it.

Islam resorted to doing nothing by the championship rounds, was visibly tired and got dominated in the end. Completely unable to impose his game and never had Volk in any kind of danger. We will probably never see him like that again, a tired mess hoping that there was enough of control time to snatch those points even without doing anything. All that agains considerably smaller opponent. Furthest thing from domination we will ever see.

He didn’t even have the best moments in there…

Islam edged out a victory over Alex. Based off of the scoring criteria, it was a victory, but the fight was competitive and quite close actually. Islam held more dominate positions, but Volk was able to apply more damage. Overall, sure, I think the right man won the match, but I'm not convinced that Islam is the superior fighter between the two, nor do I think Islam would win 10/10 times. If they match up again, and if Islam wins again, I will concede he is the overall better fighter between the two. I think they are about equal. A coin toss in my opinion.

If anything, this is an even bigger feather in Islams hat, due to the fact that he dominated volk in all aspects of the fight for 4/5 rounds. In hindsight this is an even more impressive feat than people realized.


Cant wait to see what victim Islam gets to destroy next.

I think islam underestimated volk in their fight. If volk were to work his way back up to a lw title shot, islam will be much better prepared, and he wont give away a round due to blowing his gas tank.
 
DAMN SURE wasn't Domination by any stretch.
Saw him winning, not by much for a higher weight champ.

The facial memes of Islam's showed both panic AND fear.
