The version of volk that we saw lastnight was almost as good as the version that fought islam. Volk fought well against a tall rangy striker, and showed how dominant of a champ he truly is. He is vey well deserving of the p4p 2 spot.


If anything, this is an even bigger feather in Islams hat, due to the fact that he dominated volk in all aspects of the fight for 4/5 rounds. In hindsight this is an even more impressive feat than people realized.

Outside of them 2 moments he could of easily won the decision.

It was still a close fight, two judges had it 48-47, also check the stats, not even close to domination, again you don't even understand the meaning of the word, go watch Khabib vs Barboza, Jones vs Shogun, Nunes vs Rousey etc etc to learn what real domination is.

Disingenuous? Maybe you should look at the official scorecards. Heading into Round 4, two judges had it 2-1 Islam. Second round was extremely close, and I think Islam edged it but an argument can be made otherwise.
