Sad about Dake but Taylor Yazdani was awesome.

I bet on Dake, Taylor, Gable, Takahashi, and Sadulaev. Dake and Taylor were a wash. Takahashi has me down a tiny bit but if Gable wins @ +340, then I'll be back in the green.

Hit Sad @ -250. No one is on his level.

Gable Steveson just proving that D1 wrestlers > Olympic Gold Medalists

D1 is the pinnacle of rasslin'

Dake is the biggest disappointment in Olympic history. Sucks.

No. Proving that one wrestler with 6 years of freestyle wrestling training and international competition from cadet to senior level and a div1 in college can successfully compete with the best in the world.

In your post there is a big logic mistake ...

Stop taking wrestling so fucking seriously on a karate forum lol

The guys that post in this thread take their wrestling pretty seriously, that's why this thread exists
Bro I'm having fun after watching Dake can it up and disappoint me beyond belief. David Taylor's reign of terror on the Olympics was about as much fun as I've ever had watching them. HAVE FUN

I hate the current GR rules, there have been so many 1-1 matches that have ended on passivity points alone. It's like a stupid game; whoever gets the parterre in the second period wins.
All of them? I watched the 60, 70,77 kg and all of them look pretty dope. Some of them even better than FR. However, i agree that heavier heights was pretty slow. Besides the fact that Evolaev crushed and did a fine wrestling.

Something that just occurred to me... is Taylor the oldest first timer in a minute. Dude is 30. That's pretty far over the hill in this sport.

His age makes his cardio even more impressive. Melts guys 5+ years younger than him. I’m hoping he can keep it up for another 1-2 years. He was robbed of a few prime years due to injury and covid. Could very be a 4x gold medalist otherwise.

Not all of them, but so many have been decided by 1-1 scores with no offensive points

My God this Gable Stevenson! The Georgian will rue this day for the rest of his life!

Love that both of the US golds were ‘fuck you’ wins ripped out of a stalling opponents’ hands in the last seconds by unrelenting attack.

Couldn’t have said it better. The American conditioning and grit is far superior to their opponents

You have to understand. He wants the US to switch to freestyle then hopes they lose so he can talk shit

Dake wrecks Chamizo for bronze. Sucks he got tooled in one match, but at least he didn’t end in shame.

And Snyder in the final. What an awesome showing for the US.
