Nuggets were tired of his shit at that cost. Johnson is underrated and a better shooter. That '32 pick is probably gonna hurt, but it saves them a lot of money too.
lol, you kidding me?
If you could get a solid team of defenders around a Luka / Jokic duo, they are winning at least two titles.
Giannis - Luka plus 3 and D shooters is like the perfect combo though.
Lucuck and Joker are both ball dominant/most effective with the ball in their hands and are both traffic cones on defense. I think it would be harder to build a team around them as opposed to Luka/giannis. Also Giannis could actually happen, I think there’s 0 chance joker ever goes to LA and it’s highly unlikely Denver lets him go.

Kind of strange in general. I know they suck because they're in a rebuild, but why now? You do that shit right at the end of the season if you don't like the direction the team is going. They wait until after the draft? Sounds like there's something more to this.
There's some truth to that, but it goes hand in hand with MLSE not exactly being happy with him bending them over the table in his last contract negotiation. When they give you the world, you best produce, and fast. I think the Raps got a bit unlucky with Siakam kind of floundering without Kawhi. Wasn't the backup cornerstone of the franchise he looked to be.I think it's because he just spun his wheels for SIX years post Raps chip. Let players walk as free agents, signed a bunch of mediocre players on bad contracts:
40m/year for Ingram (always hurt)
40m/year for Scottie til 2030 where he will be 50m/year
30/year for Quickley
30/year for RJ
140m/year for Quickley, Scootie, RJ and Ingram.
So fckn mediocre 6 years later. No draft day shake ups = gone. They're locked into treadmill territory for this decade.
They were traded for one another....? You faded?MPJ & Cam Thomas on one team is interesting. Too bad there’s only one ball.
Ingram is worth double that with all the dank weed and chill vibes he's bringing to that shithole of a city imoI think it's because he just spun his wheels for SIX years post Raps chip. Let players walk as free agents, signed a bunch of mediocre players on bad contracts:
