The Diaz brothers seem to get some degree of social anxiety any time they are in public. Fighting Conor is, like he says, a whole different ball game that many of these guys are not ready for. That's really not the Diaz bros elment despite how funny they are.

If Diaz can make it through the first few minutes I think he'll gain some mental strength, but he's definitely going to be a little shook, IMO, during the first few minutes of that fight given the insane magnitude of it vs his regular fight.
 
I've always thought staredowns didn't mean shit, but I confess I was actually surprised with Nate's attitude. Given the trash talk during the press, I was expecting the old school Diaz style.
 
I do wish nate had more time to prepare but they wouldnt do nate vs conor normally if its not short notice either.
 
I don't think the Diaz brothers know how to be scared, that's why they are the way they are.
 
Nate tried to fight Karo on TUF and still gets mixed up in street brawls ringside or on the casino floor. None of that is an act, those guys literally have a giant chip on their shoulder and are not afraid of fighting anyone. Fighting is what they do.

The bad news is Nate is most definitely out of shape.

If you follow him on IG you know he hasn't posted training pictures since his last fight with MJ. He took a break and was taking time off and went to Hawaii as well. Hasn't been sparring since last December.

He's nowhere near the sharpness and conditioning like we saw against MJ. Sort of a bummer.
 
So scared they needed 4 men to hold him.
 
Conor owned Nate in every way. Love how Nate accused of Conor of using steroids then Conor reminded him of Jake and Gilbert!
 
Nate's not scared he's just not witty.
 
Scared of the fight being called of for any reason, maybe.

WRONG they are both scared. GSP said he is always scared. All fighters is they are honest will say they are scared.

When Conor dropped his hands and attempted to approach, Diaz slowly wiggled backward. At that point I knew Nate was nervous
 
multiple guys holding onto him and just the Jon Anik look alike holding Conhard, yep Nate looked real frightened.
