Name a bill you hate paying the most

Car insurance for me. Get absolutely nothing for it. And the rates keep going up.

Man i was so glad for this bill to go away. Also getting 12k back because my daughter decided to live with me but my ex refused to show up in court to get the order changed.
One kid left and a bit over a year for me! Gonna celebrate like there is no tomorrow then.

Though honestly it wouldn't be so bad if it was given to a better woman and parent... Unfortunately, it is to her. I made some bad decisions lol

Car insurance. They rip me off every single time, and I know it, and they know it.

It makes me sick

100% on this last comment. I also made horrible decisions. Thankfully my daughter is a semi level headed adult and doing great even with all the BS she had to put up with because of her mom.

Hell just to get her mom to sign the papers (and still not show up in court) I had to offer her $1k once the money was released. I almost thought about just telling her to fuck off after I got the money. My wife made a good point that I might need something from her in the future regarding my daughter so best not to fuck her over. Even though my daughter came to live with me and the child support was dropped to $0. The judge made it clear that my ex technically still had custody and I'd have to come back to court and spend a lot more money to change that. My daughter was like 15 by the time we got all this fixed so I didn't feel it was worth it.

Sorry but I agree with your wife. If you're in California then private school is a must.

Sending your kids to public school in that state will actually make them dumber. I lived there my whole life and raised 2 kids there. Unfortunately couldn't afford private with my oldest but we learned the hard way to send my youngest to private school even if it means we eat ramen and beans every night.
I'm fine with it so it is what it is. Depending on where you live there are actually some academically strong public schools, especially in the Bay Area. Also sometimes it's a crap shoot because it can also be highly dependent on specific programs you may be interested in or the teachers your kids get. There are great teachers even in lower rated school and shit teachers in highly rated or private schools. The main thing that will lead to success are the parents IMO. As parents we set the stage, expectations and have a huge influence on their confidence. Parents have control of screen time and content. The entire summer my kids had to read at least 30 minutes per day and my wife gave them math/English worksheets to do every so often. I also made them do a lot of problem solving and STEM activities. My 6 year old will practice on his piano at least once to several times a day. We set that expectation if he wants to continue piano lessons and luckily he is self motivated to do it and get better. I also do a lot of soccer and agility drills with my 9 year old because I told him if he wants to continue to play comp/club soccer he needs to put in the work. If not he can go back to playing rec. He has a great coach and team, but I think all the side training we do and all the uncoached pick up soccer he plays at the park is what has improved his technical and finishing skills the most. Some parents will spend thousands and thousands on private training, special camps, but I refuse to pay for something that kids from the best countries in the world in soccer learn for free on the streets. Sorry for the rant lol…

i just recently started paying for landscaping at my house. I used to do 100% of my own work and have couple thousand dollars in tools but the lazy in me on top of the fact that im in good spot financially has won out. WHen they come, I know in my heart im paying money so I can sit on my ass.

Any insurance. Especially when you aren't using it/haven't used it for years.

Shit is nice when you do wind up needing it though.

Stamp duty on property.

I want to move house but don't want to pay $100k tax to do it.

I hope most of you don't know what i am talking about because its perhaps the most regressive tax in the world.

Property tax
It’s the tax you pay on top of all the other tax for just existing here

It makes more sense than the alternative outlined above.

I hate paying State Farm anything.
Had them for almost 15 years and they denied a roof claim.

Do not use State Farm insurance.

I just started doing this to but man it's such a pain in the ass doing yard work. After I'm done it does feel pretty good though. When it's a bad day though, hot summer, mosquitos out, man fuck that.

All insurance, but most Definitely car insurance.

Mow down just a few in crosswalks & they raise TF outta your rate, not lower it.

Ya'd figure hittin' 'em would show the ins. co. ya had good control of your ride.

<{katwhu}>

Inheritance tax. My mother died, so now the government has decided I owe them money, on things which were already fucking taxed in the first place.

Property tax. Like bro, you even apply tax on the bill when I heat my home and take half my pay, can you cut me some slack?

And as a business owner, payroll tax is some serious BS. I’d keep a larger staff without it
