Insurance since I never use it.

Car insurance considering the egregious cost of it in Ontario based largely on the stupidity of other people. I don't have so much as a parking ticket on my record but I'm paying several hundred a month

It's a necessary evil, but it sucks knowing how much money has gone to it with nothing to show for it. I only insure things that would be a catastrophe without it - car, home, life. I typically go high deductible as well. The less money to the insurance company, the better.

Sewage.
Since I live outside of the city but am tied into their sewage, they butt-rape me with like a +2.5X rate. So my water bill can be something like 80 bucks, but my sewage (separate bill) will be $140-$150 a month.


But since I'm a vet with a rating, I don't have to pay property taxes in this state (~ $4,500). So in the end, the county gets it broken off in their ass right back!

Don't you have Xfinity? How long have you had them for and have you ever signed up for Xfinity Rewards? Just asking because there are sometimes nice little perks/offers and depending on how long you had them for and your reward tier level you could get Peacock Premium for free. They also have something called Xfinity NOW internet. If it's available in your area it seems very well priced. If not always check Xfinity website for their current deals. I do it ever 1-2 years and always find better deals.

I know we all hate paying for any type of insurance, but one I don't mind paying and is very reasonably priced is term life insurance. Doesn't break the bank and gives me piece of mind if I were to die prematurely.
