Limelight My big stupid hype trains thread.

Did the English guy win on the Brave card? Anyone know?

Usyk into the HW rankings /s

what a masterful performance, you don’t get that kind of technical work in HW division across any sport. Makes me wonder how Usyk would do in MMA just off standup skills

Where would you rank Josh Silveira after that performance? At LHW or at MW?

How long til he's in the UFC?

I've moved him up to #6 in the LHW rankings, I won't rank him at MW until he actually fights there. He can go to the UFC now if he wants.

Edwin Cooper Jr

Country - USA
Weight Class - Featherweight
Age : 28
Promotion - LFA
Record - 5-1

Cooper is a highly impressive wrestler in an MMA setting. The other thing that makes him impressive is how aggressive he is with his ground and pound which really separates him from the lay and pray guys. He's very good at isolating a hand and throwing vicious GnP with the other hand causing severe damage to his opponent. Dominant at moving from position to position and seems to be able to take guys down at will.

In short, he's a problem.

Damn, if I was Bellator or PFL, take Rizvan Kuniev, Aaron Jeffery, and
Caio Borralho

Rivzan is so stupid trying to wrestle in front of Dana, of course he's not going to get a contract.
What an idiot showing up to Stand and bang series trying to wrestle. You might as well just not go on the show if you’re a grappler. They don’t want any grapplers. It’s a shame because this is mma.

He picked the wrong time to flex his wrestling, right after Blaydes played it safe against Rozenstruik.

Yeah he was pretty obviously in a bad mood.
It's kinda stupid how the future of your career could depend on the mood of a boxercise guy, but alas, this is how the UFC does talent aquisition and since they are the biggest guys in the game, they can just throw a huge net.
