KSW on Saturday

HW #23 Ricardo Prasel (32/Brazil/13-3) is probably going to lose his title fight to Phil De Fries (21-6)
MW - #18 Cezary Kesik (32/Poland/13-2) fights Tommy Romanowski (16-8)
Romanowski came in 6 pounds overweight for the bout

So how good is Shamil Gaziev? He has 8-0 in HW.

Good but one dimensional and a bit gassy. Kind of a bit like a younger Shamil Abdurakhimov. I thought he should have lost the Kornilov fight.

How do you know they are siblings? Super Mely looked awful yesterday, btw.
On the ufc broadcast they said she had a brother named David who is also a MMA fighter coming up. Assuming it’s the Combate Daniel since Melly was also there

David or Daniel? Combate's fighter is David. Both are common af Mexican names.

@Hellowhosthat What's your overall thought on Ikram Aliskerov since he's fighting on DWCS this week?

Very good, for sure good enough to be in the UFC. A little one dimensional with the wrestling and top game but very good at it, but might run into issues once he gets into the levels where everyone has good TDD.

Not related but who is your favorite brazilian prospect? Is it one of the bonfim brothers? I was quite impressed by both of them last week.

Gabriel Bonfim is my favourite yeah. Now he's been signed my favourite outside the UFC is probably Manoel Sousa.

Ben Tynan

Country - Canada
Weight Class - Heavyweight
Age : 28
Promotion - LFA
Record : 3-0

I'm trying to be a bit more careful with heavyweights until they get some stiffer competition, but I think I'm just going to have to pull the trigger on this dude seeing as I don't think anyone really wants to fight him so he's probably going to be in a major promotion when he makes the step up.

Anyway dude was a D1 wrestler, went 8-0 with 8 finishes as an ammy (7 in the first round) and is now 3-0 as a pro with 3 first round finishes in a combined time of about 3 minutes and 30 seconds. He's obviously a big strong wrestler, but he also seems to have power and actively goes for the finish.

In short I guess I can see why people are avoiding him.

Yeah, he'll be in a major promotion in 2 fights time, sadly I suspect it'll be Bellator.

I suspect the UFC will go for him tbh. They like Canadians and they're a little short at the minute. Plus he seems pretty charismatic and has a cool tache.

Doesn't he train with guys like Blaydes, or am I mistaken?
If so, you'd think he'd prefer the UFC with some of his boys already there.
