RBI Baseball is amazing and should probably be included for sports sake

Zelda for its iconic adventure

Tetris is iconic and adds the puzzle game to the list

#5 is a toss up but for me it might be Gorilla War. No one ever acknowledges the game but it's a great two player vertical run n gun experience that's totally beatable in a <2 hour playthrough

I used to be a Gradius machine. Never beat it, but i think i was 1 or 2 levels away

Havent tried emulators cuz itd be impossible without a controller

Have you played Gradius II? It completely shits all over the first one in every way and it's a crime that it wasn't released outside of Japan.

Nah, Ive only played Gradius III on SNES. Never played any of the NES ones except for Life Force.

Japan got all the cool stuff. At least people translate the roms

In the case of Gradius II, Konami used the VRC4 mapper chip which pushed the famicom past it's limits. It was also used for Crisis Force:

Each to own but my point was not saying the big franchises. I only have a small collection but those 2 have remained as they are still great games and in that collection I have MM2 and DD 1&2 too.

Pretty sure when I say this next game the mixed feelings and anger will spike. This game caused even more fights than asking your friend in a fighting game to give you a sec to learn the buttons.
