I prefer it to 3
2 is the one I pick up more often
I’ve never beaten BattletoadsMy top 5 games were:
1. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: The Arcade Game-Best portable version of the arcade game (which is still good today) and it had additional enemies and stages on the NES.
2. Super Mario Brothers 2-Others above have said it but it is still the most solid of the 3 Mario games on NES. Plus the fact that every character had different jumps made the game good.
3. Mike Tyson's Punchout-Arguably the best boxing game to exist. Still holds up today.
4. BattleToads-One of the hardest and anger inducing games ever. Still fun to play but impossible for me to beat.
5. Rad Racer-So simple but I love this game. To me it is one of the best driving games ever.
Also, shout out to Bases Loaded and Mega Man 2.
I was broken heart when the Blue Jays collapsed, missed the playoffs and did not make RBI.What would your list of top 5 “must have” NES games be?
A top ten list would be too easy.
For me:
1. Mario 3
2. Dr. Mario
3. RBI Baseball
4. Tecmo Bowl
5. Contra
I don’t think I’ve ever landed a plane successfully in that game.
I still replay kings bounty every few years. It’s so bad it’s awesome.Blaster Master
Metroid
Zelda
Mega Man 2 or 3 forgot what one.
Godzilla 1
Stuff I would suggest...
Gradius
Legendary Wings
Shout outs to Gensis Kings Bounty game.
I used to like the game Shadowgate. Took me a while to beat it. Heard there is a pay version on iPhone that is different then the original. Anyone have any experience with that, and if so is it worth the download price?
