The fight v. Sterling was very good though, one of my favourites so far in 2025.

He clearly beat Lopes. Not a single scorecard for Lopes.

Allen fight was closer where with worse or different judges he could have lost his though.

Fitch was undefeated going in there with GSP and yeah ufc probably ran out of opponents for him roll. Although he did have a finish here and there. Not only that but there was nothing too distinctive about his personality

Been on the Evloev bandwaggon for a while now. But it's a lonely being on this bandwaggon too lol. Not many riders.

People do seem to treat Evloev and Ankalaev similarly. Very good fighters, but almost no love. No Dagestan-Must-be-elite buff or hype either.

I jumped on his bandwagon after his fight with Aljo, one of the best fights on that card.

I like him, Islam, and Umar though I didn't care for his excuse making in his post fight interview after the Merab fight.

umar I do rate higher than evloev, but if Umar has cardio for five, he might be the best p4p fighter to be honest, i think he's that good and merab is that good

More like why is Volk getting this shot. At least the first Evloev/Lopes fight was exciting and Lopes was a short notice replacement making his UFC debut. It should be Evloev vs Lopes while Volk tries to pick up a win.

Volk has done so many favors for the UFC and was a long reigning champ, he deserves another shot at the belt.

I get why Lopes got the TS and i'm not that mad at it, but Evloev certainly deserves it more than Lopes. Let's just hope Dana does the right thing and gives Evloev next up.

Neither was Merab. Interesting how these donks didn’t stan for Merab half as hard. Merab accepted his plight, stood his ground and let his teammate cook, and still wound up on top. How is Diego Lopes getting the shot over Evloev?

He literally lost to Movsar, and has a beautiful record of 19-0, with 4 of those wins being over CURRENT ranked fighters (Lopes, Allen, Ige and Aljo)

Reminds me of Pereira skipping the queue and heading for the title, although this is worse because at least Pereira was a champion.

This is only justifiable if Movsar is injured, which I don’t think is the case.

This is NOT a true championship fight between the two best guys in the division.

I can see that.

I very much enjoyed his last two fights, but those were close competitive fights, and it would def inspire more confidence to see him grow into his own and finish guys.


Some "boring" fighters wind up getting more settled in and confident and finish guys more than they did on the come up, like Machida
