Most overrated movie?

The Departed is the most overrated movie I've ever come across.

Of that list, The Godfather pt. II and Inception stick out. But I probably wouldn't list either of them in my top 10 most overrated films.

Does anyone even like The English Patient anymore? It seems even the Academy considers that one a black spot on their history. Can't be overrated if its not rated in the first place.

Really? It's not my favorite but it's many levels above some of the dogshit movies that won best picture. Crash, and Shakespeare in love being the two worst in recent history.

Even being many levels above those two doesn't make English Patient all that good

But I'm just saying, those other movies have strong fanbases. English Patient doesn't.

My ex loved that movie. No idea if she still does. But yeah I never hear anyone talk about it anymore.

Slingblade should have won best picture that year.
