What are some fights that people seem to forget happened when arguing MMA? I thought about this in an earlier thread about Korean Zombie.. He's a perfect example, people have completely forgotten that KZ got viciously knocked out by George Roop not long before pulling off the twister on Leonard Garcia.. I love the guy, he's gotta be one of the most entertaining fighters in the world & this one loss says nothing about how legit he is, but no one mentions the fight when talking off KZ.. No one mentions the wholes he had in his game at the time, Roop's gameplan or anything.. I'm sure there are even better fights out there just like this, that people never mention Can anyone give anymore examples?
No one has forgotten the Korean zombie knockout loss. especially not him. In fact, its why hes been fighting how has been now
I'm sure he hasn't..... But his fans definitely don't mention it.. I guess the guy is so awesome that he completely lacks haters to bring it up lol
Pettis lost to Bart P. Yves Edwards lost to Marquardt, Hominick, Noons, Kawaijiri, Serra, Uno, and Stevenson. Mike Brown, the man who beat Faber twice lost to Hermes Franca in his 1st fight.
Pretty crazy considering their respective careers right now. These days if KZ fought Roop I don't think anyone would give Roop a chance in there.
Well judging by a lot of the threads lately, some how people have forgotten that it was indeed JDS that Ko'd Cain, not the other way around....
You can also add Nate Diaz getting armbarred by Franca. With that said, Franca was a top flight competitor in his prime. BJJ black belt, KO power, losing to him back in the day was nothing to be ashamed of.
Not the new KZ, no. I thought George beat Hioki and losing to Swanson isn't that bad considering his hot streak at the moment. For me it would be Marquardt to Okami. The fight was so boring I simply forgot it happened until the other day
