With that said, Franca was a top flight competitor in his prime. BJJ black belt, KO power, losing to him back in the day was nothing to be ashamed of.

Crazy isn't it. Nate Diaz just fought for the title and is a top LW while Franca hit rock bottom and is currently having trouble with the law.

Pretty crazy considering their respective careers right now. These days if KZ fought Roop I don't think anyone would give Roop a chance in there.

He should beat Roop, but he fought like an idiot in that fight. He kept coming at Roop with his hands down, and Roop taught him that that was a very bad idea
