Just gemmed in two spread shot gems and made Loyal Thunder.

It's powerful, but I'm not sure if I like the up-close-with-shotgun style of play, due to it's very short critical range.

Even without critical range, Pierce Shotting Franz Glacia seems to have a more versatile window of attack.

If only there was a Pierce Shot gem...

I don't really like the scope so far. I like to shoot and move, and it's blurry more often than not. I've heard that it's really strong though.

There must be Pierce gems, but in 200 hours I've never seen them. Bad luck I guess.

I've gotten 4 in 1500 hours, you just haven't played enough there's a nargacuga piece that has pierce shot on it. The first level is stronger than the second so having pierce 1 is good.

Yeah, I'm quite content with my Urugaan/Bazelgause Gunner set. Guard 5 and Guard Up have been lifesavers with HBG.

I did a few more rounds with Loyal Thunder and I really like it up close.

My playstyle is basically staffing with pierce/sticky/elemental/slicing, with status shots when I really want to unload on something. I prefer Franz Glacia because of this, though two of those gems would be nice...

1) Auto-reload on Slicing Ammo means that you can shoot and move.
2) Franz had Sleep 1&2 whilst Baleful has just 1.

Franz also gas higher base attack.

I may get Baleful Night just to try though, plus it has WyvernSnipe.

I have Attack Boost 7, Guard 5, Guard Up, Health Boost 3, Guts, Partbreaker 2 and a bunch of other stuff that I don't really care about. I'm wondering if there is anything that can make me more effective...

Attack 7 is a meme. Need crit eye 7, weakness exploit 3, crit boost 3 and you can even make a pierce shot charm if necessary

Yep, Rajang is a cunt. His so hard no shield weapons work except oddly HBG. Fast and hard hitting with few openings to do damage. Didn't have time to fight him to the death, just for a few mins.

It took me three tries till i finally brought it down once. Apparently, the Rajang GL tree is the only one with Wide6!

Yeah all of his weapons are really good. Farmed him for a few hours today and got into a Guiding lands with the tempered version to make the rarity 12 weapons. I've got the CB, GS, SA, LS, and DB. Want the two bow guns and that's it. Also his head and waist armor are good.
