Media Mike Perry and Sean Strickland go hard during sparring

Yeah, a little surprising he beat Page (though I think that was controversial) but everyone else Perry has fought in BK has either been older or smaller. But to be fair, they haven't been ridiculous mismatches like some of Jake Paul's fights (Askren, 60-year old Tyson, etc.).
older and smaller but usually more well rounded and more skilled at striking than him

Watching this makes me sad. Perry had so much damn potential, but let bitches and making too much money get in the way. When he went to high level gyms for awhile. His striking looked so damn good. Mainly the luque and felder fight.

Then he just had his girls hold pads for him and barely beats gall and easily outboxed by that one white dude who has been around for a long time.

I’m glad he found BKFC where he can earn great money, and doesn’t have to worry about actually learning striking and just use what he was born as.. a tough kid with a big punch and the will to keep coming forward. Just sucks we will never have seen what Mike Perry could have really been if he kept taking it serious

Are both polarizing and extremely entertaining to watch, Yes.
Are they great and wholesome people? No.
Both can both be true.

I never thought we’d get this beautiful of a white trash union between the two though.
Mike is the blackest man on earth what do you mean?

Totally agree

Also, I will go to my grave saying he won the Luque fight

Tyson held back, a lot.

I've sparred plenty. You clearly haven't sparred if you think this is hard sparring lol.

There's like 1 exchange there that Strickland turns it up a few notches, but that's it.

You're arguing with an alt account of someone who has to put on a diaper before he goes to bed.

Sorry but THIS is what hard sparring looks like

I know there is one guy around here who knows one guy that used to sparr with Tyson, he's on his videos as well, and says it was a good gig buuuut.

I still think you gotta be crazy + earn a shit ton of money to spar Tyson. Fark me dead that looks unpleasant.

You're joking right?

The guy is a dinosaur. He had like 20 seconds of cardio in the first min of the first 2 rounds and then was gassed the rest of the time. He didn't hold back at all. That was just all he could offer at his age.

Jake is the one that held back. He could have flattened him pretty easily, but didn't. It was so clear that Tyson shouldn't have even been in there that even Jake started to realize how sad their "fight" was and didn't want to make it worse by brutally KOing him.

I really wish this wasn't true

I know, bro. It was sad as fuck, but that's what was going on in that fight. A whole lot of sadness.

Only good thing was that Mike got a great payday and didn't get hurt.

Platinum blessed the bald guys life.

Kid might go places now.

Yeah it was a great way for some of them to develop themselves. A few went on to do really well. Oliver McCall knocked out Lennox Lewis, became WBC heavyweight champ, and never got knocked out in his career.

I also think Holyfield was his sparring partner in the late 80s and even Lennox was in the same camp as Tyson in the pre-Olympics days.

I wouldn't say that if there wasn't a clip where Tyson pulled a punch that could have easily knocked Jake's block off. he didn't just pull it, he stopped it.

Anderson did the same TWICE in their fight, and then did that "rush" acting in the last round.

You are all crazy if you think there are no "don't knock jake out" clauses in the signed contract.
