How does he hit his head on the pull up bar when falling off a rubber band hanging off the bar?

I’m surmising that he put his head inside the loop and took a step off a platform of some sort. The weight drop caused the band to extend/contract, and on the contraction, the top of his head hit the bar and knocked him out cold. That’s probably the “bang” his girlfriend heard. He was just dead meat swinging from that point on, till Jacare made him undead.
