News Mike Jackson is BACK!! (CM Punk's last opponent)

how does this dude get shots like this, when theres people i know on the local circuit that are way more legitimate that can do better.

The UFC brought in Mickey Gall (a complete mma noob) to fight CM Punk. They then brought Mike Jackson in to give Mickey an easy win; they were trying to make Mickey look like a legitimate fighter before the CM Punk fight. They then closed the loop by having the two losers fight each other (Punk and Jackson), while allowing Mickey to fight a completely separate hype job (Sage). The whole thing was a grift, but people still bought into it.
 
Is this the same dude that they show his tweets during every event?

Mickey wasn't an mma noob, he was a bjj ace with 1 fight. A legitimate prospect.

One career fight on a local circuit is the definition of MMA noob. If it weren't for Dana looking for an opponent for Punk, Mickey likely would have been a couple years away from getting called up to the UFC (if it ever actually happened).
 
I feel bad for Gall, man got gifted an opportunity to receive brain damage. And now he’s realising that brain damage might prevent a career in the future.

Mike Jackson isnt even a pro fighter. Hes a dude with a little boxing background and trains for FUN! Hes basically one of us fighting in the UFC. I'm rooting for him. Also it's funny how cm punk returned to wrestling and is winning all of his matches except one.

Why would they bring in an 0-0 guy to make Mickey look legitimate? That makes no sense. If they wanted Mickey to look legit they would have brought in someone better. Both Gall and Jackson were fighting for a chance to take on Punk. Gall was clearly the favourite, but I guarantee if Jackson had beat Gall they would have given him Punk next instead of Gall getting the fight.

Jackson a world class journalist. Fought and beat former world HW champ in Punk. Not everyone can say the same!
 
He deserves to be there more than Sam Alvey
