Mighty Mouse in UFC 1

Mighty Mouse would win UFC 1. He'd be far too advanced and skilled. Guy's a stud.
also, via the time traveling power of hypotheticals, he could take matt hume with him, get young matt hume, and have 2 versions of hume in his corner. MM via finish everyone with those advantages

He'll be the first guy to give up by TKO spanking.

Every current fighter in FLW, BW, FW and LW would get killed in OW UFC.

LW, WTF?! Aren't some of those guys basically Royce's size with much more modern skillsets? Ferguson is 1 inch shorter than Royce but heavier, Khabib is 2 inches shorter but heavier, Diaz is about the same height and weight, Chiesa is actually 1 inch taller, etc. Most have much better striking, better wrestling...

Even FWs are close in weight to Royce.

He was thoroughly cucked by Brad Pickett at Bantamweight. He'd get literally murdered at UFC 1. Plus, the format wouldn't allow him to duck legit competition.
Not sure who he has ducked at FLW and did you even see the fight with Pickett? It wasn't anything close to what I'd call, in you words, 'cucked'.

LWs fight at 155.
Gracie was at 180, from what I remember.
Sure, I know the LWs are bigger when they don't fight.
But they are used to fight guys their size, also.
And they are used to fight at that weight.

And, for example, at UFC 10 (still OW) you had huge guys like Goodridge, Coleman, Don Frye and Brian Johnson. Guys who weighted way over 200. 6,3 feet tall. I know they were not the best fighters, but they can destroy LW easily.

Paul Varelans fought at UFC 8. He was not much of a fighter, but the guy 6,8 feet. Just saying.

Do you get how weight cutting works? Most LWs are 170+ when they fight, a 15-20 lb weight cut is standard for modern MMA (some cut even more).

I edited my comment.
Read it again, please!
So what makes 6' 180 lb Gracie so special that he could beat those huge guys and 5'10-6'1, 170-180+ lb LWs could not? Do you think he had a better skillset or was that much "tougher"?

First, I edited my comment so you can see that I wasn't reffering only Gracie.
There were big guys there. Just because Gracie submitted some of them, doesn't mean that the current LWs can do the same.

Second, Gracie didn't have a better skillset, but he was good at fighting big guys. We don't know how good the LW are at this. All we know is that they fight at 155 with guys at 155.

Royce was what....170? And with basically no wrestling.

Mighty Mouse would be walking in probably 145 (or whatever...no cut) with very high level wrestling.

He would beat everyone other than Shamrock with ease. People generally underestimate how easy it is to take someone down who has no wrestling ability, even if they are bigger.

As far as a Shamrock/Mighty Mouse fight...that is a bit more tricky. I tend to think Shamrock would be able to handle himself on the ground, but be woefully pot-shotted on the feet if they stood.

Taps out to a fishhook

Not a chance. Mighty Mouse wouldn't make it out of the first bracket in UFC 1. He wouldn't even phase anyone with his striking, and he's way to small to impose his will grappling-wise, even though he'd obviously be the most skilled grappler.

Ken-MM... tricky?

130 pounds vs 220 pounds roid up monster shamrock...

its silly.

Wasn't there a lack of weight classes in the very first UFC PPV? Pretty sure Mighty Mouse would get killed.

He would've still asked for Ray Borg cause Royce didn't deserved to fight him.

I don't think he'd have done well. He's not just a small guy he's extremely tiny like clinically disabled small.

Yeah, but he'd be infinitely more skilled than all of his opponents, and would beat everyone, except maybe Shamrock, Severn (I actually think he could literally run circles around him, and just pot shot the whole time), and maybe Kimo (doubtful).

The size disparity would be too much with those guys.

MM at most is probably at most 145lb ? They had some absolute huge fuckers in UFC 1 who were strong, could throw and take a punch even if they the upmost worst technique you ever saw.

Much better idea, far closer to the size of the UFC 1 fighters than MM & without having to cut probably bigger & stronger than most. Comes into the Octagon as a better athlete with a complete game who doesn't have to worry about USDA & destroys EVERYONE.

I think he beats most of Royce's opponents, except for Ken, possibly Severn, although he's the one big opponent, I think MM could out skill, even with the size disparity, and I think Kimo would be able to beat him.

And even with Severn, I think MM would have to be absolutely on his Ps and Qs. If Severn got a good hold of him, and got the top position, he could really damage MM, badly, and that's even with his limited skill set. On the other hand, I could see MM just zig zag, and use his absurd quickness to completely stay away from his shots, and just tag him over, and over like how Floyd did to the Big Show lol.

MM is hinging on that way too small to overcome size, and less skilled opponents, territory.
