News Miesha Tate says that she spent 98% of her return fight purse covering training expenses

that deadbeat brazilian husbands of hers isn't gonna feed himself

This doesnt make sense.
So if she hadnt gotten the win bonus, then she would have been in the negative?
Other fighters get paid less and are taking in more than 2% of their earnings.

lol at blaming organic food
Also Meisha she willingly came back and begged UFC for another chance, so im guessing she was okay witht he contract she signed so why is she complaining? According to Dana White Meisha makes a lot of money and didnt need to come back, I heard she owns real estate, has a six figure job with One FC, and other investments.

What is her point for complaining nobody forced her to come back and she is the one who negotiated her contract with Dana White.

Jamie Varner going in hard, is he Caraways best mate or something?

meisha is probably training like a champ but not being comped for things like a champ would maybe. i know if you are getting pt, ciro, need access to sauna and ice chamber, things like that add up fast especially if you are trying to maximize everything even whole foods i have seen athletes dump 1000's into organic foods a week. a lot of it will be convenience like maybe lots of supps packaged foods things like that and they add up at places like that but the alternative is hard because fighters dont have energy to cook ever meal if they are maximizing their training. there is also travel and trainers. shes going to pick high level training and no ones time is free if you want 1 on one its expensive. i can see all these expenses over 3 months adding up to be a lot. on top of this she has her normal bills to pay. she may not be spending optimally on ever purchase but most people don't do that who have a career they just get whats easy and keeps them going day to day. some fighters also need pool access. training gear does wear out fast whenn you use it everyday .

I bet you thought no one would know who Varner is and wrote that in hopes of 50+ likes. Otherwise you would've just Google his name.

I honestly just thought someone would answer my question without being a giant asshole about it but I should have known better

Pretty sure she'd on the hook for FICA as an independent contractor. She's gotta pay both sides so that's 15+%. I'd expect that to be post deductions. Still don't believe her claims, but just throwing this out there for anyone running the math.
