The "case by case basis" statement says it all. If PS5 were on pace to sell more than double the amount of consoles and is getting all the attention again, well.. I wouldn't be so sure that Microsoft is going to continue playing nice.
If that’s part of the deal then yes, they are.
If they want to be the “Netflix of Gaming” that’s the only logical step.Gamepass on playstation seems to be the current direction.
I’ve accepted a lot of Bethesda titles will be on PS5.Ok buddy. You tell yourself whatever you want. I’m a Sony guy. I’ve got my ps5 preorder in. Yesterday’s news concerns me too.
That being said a part of me is cautiously optimistic that Microsoft will not take a draconian approach to things and will not block Bethesda et al games from coming to PlayStation. For one, Microsoft seemed much more open to the idea of cross platform play than Sony was at first. Secondly, I get the impression that Microsoft doesn’t want to come off as the big bad like Apple and Facebook have very recently. Motives aside, Microsoft definitely seems to be taking a very consumer friendly approach to things lately and I don’t think they would just leave PS5 and Switch owners out in the cold completely. I think it’s probably good enough for them to make their titles timed exclusives and available on Game Pass to show users the value in making the jump to team green.
But I could be completely out to lunch and Microsoft could take a giant shit on the PlayStation fan base. Time will tell. But you have literally no solid ground to stand on in your arguments. At best you’re going through the stages of grief.

Youre stuck at either denial or bargaining. I’m not a psychologist so I can’t tell which.

Netflix doesn’t just work on Samsungs.
I think this acquisition changes everything for GamePass. Nintendo is stubborn and Sony can be too but there may be a point where it’s too good not to. This is the first step towards that imo.Phil Spencer was saying how execs at Nintendo and Sony aren't interested in gamepass on their platforms.
"
"The thing about other gaming console platforms is we're not able to bring a full Xbox experience on those platforms," Spencer said in a new video interview with GameStar.
"In places where we have brought Xbox - mobile phones like we're doing now with Project xCloud with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate [and] what we've done with PC bringing our full Xbox experience there - we know when somebody is playing one of our Xbox games there is an expectation that they've got their Xbox Live community, they have their Achievements, Game Pass is an option, my first-party library is completely there...
"The other competitive platforms really aren't interested in having a full Xbox experience on their hardware. But for us, we want to be where gamers want to be and that's the path that we're on.""
That's about what i'd estimate for Starfield. Possibly 2022. TES 6 was made out to be something we wouldn't even be hearing about for a number of years so i could see that arriving around 2025 - 2026. With them now being part of Microsoft i wonder if that will change things at all and mean more resources to speed up development. When you realize the big Bethesda games aren’t coming out till 2022-2023 anyways
Avowed should fill the gap of Elder Scrolls..That's about what i'd estimate for Starfield. Possibly 2022. I'm not sure how it works but if i was Microsoft i'd want the next TES game to arrive sooner than 5 years from now. Especially considering the length of time between TES games.

This is early on though and GamePass is still in its infancy by Microsoft’s standards. A lot remains to be seen.
I've seen some speculation that TES could be dead as a series or at least comatose. If so then we need something to fill that void and i hope that Avowed is a worthy spiritual successor. There's also a game being worked on by the earlier developers of TES but i haven't heard much about it recently.Avowed should fill the gap of Elder Scrolls..
I have the 3080 on back order. Hopefully i get it in the coming weeks.
"But the Xbox guy"
Ya the guy in charge.. oh wait nevermind I'm talking to a fucking fan boy <Lmaoo>
This meltdown is amusing, thank you.
he's not a fan boy.
You guys need to stop engaging the troll.
Yeah, as gamepass continues to improve and grow Sony and Nintendo would be foolish to keep it off their platforms.
