Nope, not when it comes to Bethesda’s own IP’s. At the very least Fallout and TES will be multiplat.

Feel free to provide it. It’s a literal fact that Bethesda retained their publishing rights lol.

The final nail in the coffin for what..? Unlike you clearly, I regard console warring as nonsense.

Consumers will.benefit greatly from a competitive next gen between Sony and Xbox..

Do you understand what controlling your publishing rights means? It means you can publish your games wherever and however you see fit. Those are legal rights that they most definitely pushed to have included in this deal for a very specific reason.

But the Xbox guy made some vague statement about “case by case.” Well that settles that.

Microsoft literally owns Bethesda. They OWN them. They can remove the board of directors and install whoever they want, and that new board can hire whoever they want to be the officers that run the company.

At this point no one here, yourself included, has any idea what is meant by the statement about Bethesda retaining their own publishing rights. I suspect it could be primarily a branding issue. But make no mistake, they’re not in a position to call any shots or dictate anything to Microsoft.

If that’s part of the deal then yes, they are.
 
Again, they could have just made a similar deal as the one they did with E.A if this was just about bringing their games to Game Pass..

Why didn't they? Instead they spent more than Disney did on Star Wars.

Because there’s a lot more to this deal than just the games that Bethesda has developed.

There’s id, there’s Obsidian, there’s whatever other developers they have. But when it comes to their own produced games, they’ve retained the rights to publish them. This isn’t some hostile fucking takeover. It’s incredibly commonplace to give allowances to a company you just acquired.
