I don't know if Nintendo is capable of that lol, but I could see Sony trying to compete. They have a crazy library, and an online infrastructure they can build off of. I'm sure the M$ acquisition of Zenimax is a big wake up call.

I’m seeing a lot of rumors today about Microsoft buying Sega. Maybe announcement at Tokyo game show tomorrow?

I honestly don't even think Nintendo is a direct competitor in all this anyways. They just do their own thing, and nothing MS or Sony has done, has really effected their market share. Shit, the next Nintendo console will probably be as powerful as an Xbox One S. I don't think they're too concerned with keeping up with Sony and MS. Mario and Zelda carry them across the finish line no matter what.

I would definitely look for Sony to beef up Playstation Now, though.

I think Sony is just going to keep doing what they’ve been doing. They have no reason to change. This was their most successful gen why change? Everything MS is doing is great but it’s not a proven strategy yet. What Sony does worked and can continue to work.
 
Microsoft is rumoured to be buying Sony then forcing them to make only toasters and microwaves from now on.

Pretty sure its going to be the same deal with those. You can always camp outside the store lol. I went to my local store here in canada like an hour early. Only to see a giant line going through the parking lot. They had 2 in stock and one guy bought both and started scalping them on kijiji

Very true. I'll always have a special place in my heart for Nintendo. They do their own thing.

I remember buying the NES with my paper route, first major purchase lol. Switch is the first system I haven't bought from them.

I really like the idea of the switch, but I'm waiting on a beefier version, Switch 2? I'll be happy to have an Xbox 1 powered handheld, and with a decent battery! I'm sure it will be backwards compatible, with upscaling built in. So many games await!

Do you use a PS4 controller with your PC? If yes, does the DS4's audio jack work with your headphones? Or are your headphones wireless?

I connect my DS4 to PC as a Bluetooth device but then I get no audio if I plug in my headphones (a common DS4 issue on PC apparently). That's the main reason I haven't bought a decent set of headphones, since I'd have to run a long cord from the couch... or maybe I should just look into a wireless set (as long as I can get 7.1 surround sound).

I don't use headphones on my PC for this reason you just mentioned. I got a long ass audio cable for have to situations but I almost never use it.
