If Chandler beats Oliviera, then McGregor can finally fight him and claim that Chandler is still at the top of the division coming off a win over Charles.

If Chandler loses to Oliviera, McGregor can say, “see that’s why oi didnt fight the twerp”, and just take his trilogy with Diaz.

Maybe but Conor has never seemed interested in Whore-Hey. He'd probably be open to the Nate trilogy though. I could see the UFC being open to it since Nate beat Whore-Hey, although Conor may have to really push for it.
