Simon has looked awesome in his last few outings, he got worked in the first fight and had a hail mary comeback. Weird match up, but I oddly like it. Simon has improved a lot. Considering the division as a whole, it sort of makes sense.

What do you think simon does better this time? or is it more so that you think Font is falling off? Font busted his knee in the middle of that fight and simon still couldn't control him. Simon spent most of that fight struggling to get past the jab, and when he did, he couldn't do much at all in the grappling

Well, Dana doesn't reward you for the type of win he got against Aldo, usually the opposite. Combined with not wanting to fight Aljo, he'll have to take what fights he can get. He's in the doghouse at the moment.

Did Aljo say that? He's definitely lying and that would be insane. The only way a guy like Aljo is going to make money is by being champ. He needs to cash as many of these checks as he can.

Maybe this is what I was thinking of, I just know he claimed he was gonna go to 145 in the very near future to let Merab get a chance... I was always very skeptical. It remains to be seen I guess.
