im kinda sick of merab cause i think he's weird and annoying but he aint losing for a couple years probably

No they're right this beyond stupid. Crying ducking 0-1 saying look they're saying he needs TWO whole wins to get a title shot <36> hell Umar barely has any ranked wins ever let that sink in. If Umar can't get 2 fucking top ten wins nobody's ducking him, he's lasy, Yan has put together 2 wins and was made to watch Cory jump ahead of him while he was told he needed another win.
Stupid was the rematch against Sean O'Malley who didn't beat anyone else after the defeat and got an immediate rematch even though it wasn't competitive in the first one.
Merab didn't put up any obstacle, but on the contrary shamelessly asked for it.

Umar will have won a big fight against Bautista and in a division with fewer options now.

Seems bizarre Merab is taking such a quick turnaround for seemingly no reason. Hopefully they are paying him really well, sounds like a bad idea.

Yan is a live dog in that consideration. If this fight takes place mid February I think Yan has virtually no chance.

I’m one of the rare few that voted for Yan to win this fight. I believe a healthy Yan will bring a whole different fight and potentially could win this. But I also wouldn’t mind being wrong. Merab is one of those fighters that upgraded himself as a champion and it’s truly something to admire and respect.

O'Malley is a UFC champion. So it's more valid but saying 1 thing is stupid doesn't make your stupid thing less stupid they can be both stupid.

If they were paying him well the UFC wouldn't even book him 3x a year <31>

U Fight Cheap pays terribly, we don't even have to guess it all came out in discovery from the class action. They are coughing up less than 15% of revenue for fighter pay and that included every dollar of bonuses, PPV share, insurance, flights, per diem, even the cost of the PI.

What I am suggesting is they may have offered something above normal for Merab because they needed to sure up this card.

They will never let pantoja main event a ppv

Considering he was begging for this opportunity I would be shocked if that was true knowing how they penny pinch fighters.
But I hope you are right.

Nop, the fact only shows that it is realistic and possible...

Using idiotic rhetoric doesn't change that fact.

Gotta give Merab so much credit, he truly is a machine of a man. I guess it's a worthwhile rematch but it's gonna look exactly like the first fight, Merab by dominant decision.

Well...Merab finally fixed bantamweight.
It was a shitshow for so long:
• Cruz injuries
• Barao weight cut issues
• Urijah Faber got 15 title shots
• Garbrandt sucked and had no chin
• Dillashaw popped for EPO
• Cejudo retired
• Yan got DQ'd
• Aljo was injured and then fought one-armed TJ and old Cejudo
• O'Malley gifted Chito a title shot
