Honestly. I reckon the only reason he said that is because he couldn't deny sleeping with her because his dna allegedly was inside her so it's likely he would never even have admitted having sex with her only for that. Once he admitted to having sex with her he had no choice but to say it was rough sex because of the bruising she sustained etc

I do think the girl was a bit foolish and some of her behaviours are questionable but it's likely she thought she was cool af hanging out and partying with these ppl plus she probably needed to sober up for it to really hit home what happened.

The fact she went back to the room for instance with Mr Lawrence end was seen kissing him and hugging him. That is a bit odd but it proves nothing and it's likely she was all over the place and had no idea what to do or how to act.
