Mayweather, McGregor, the UFC and the hype train we are all on board!!

Mayweather leaks a story to the Media stating his interest in fighting McGregor. A fight with little to no chance of happening without the UFC being involved.
This was a time that McGregor is in a very public row with the UFC over promotion duties. An argument which does more press than any fight promotion the UFC has every done.
All while the UFC is potentially up for sale!
How much is all of this media coverage worth to the UFC sale price? The UFCs biggest star (coming of a loss) linked to a fight with the biggest boxing PPV star of all time.
Remember McGregor isn't even in the top 5 pound for pound rankings yet there is still talk of this fight almost a month later.
Anyone else feel like the real winner in the last few weeks of the Mayweather's/McGregor hype train is the UFC owners
