My new year resolution was to find love... Or well, a long term dating that would lead to a stable and healthy relationship...
To my long list of things potential lovers don't like about me, I had to add... MMA...
How you all handle/manage it?
I don't want to stop the training, because I feel better after the time I have spend on it and while I would for no reason, fight with a date, they seem to see it as "dangerous" and I surely don't think so, I don't think practicing a contact sport makes you dangerous :l
And of course I have meet a few that want me to grapple them and submit them lol
But not only I bet I can't lol The idea of being objectified that way made me awkward, also I want a stable relationship lol Advice? I put a disclaimer on the dating profiles?
You just need to find your soulmate in the gym instead of floozys online

Girls like dudes with hobbies. Stop overthinking shit.

MMA is dangerous and if you practice it properly, it helps you become more dangerous. Dangerous, when properly disciplined can be a great thing.

Women aren't exactly lining up, pantiless, outside of wimpy men's basements.

It’s come to my attention lately that some people fill up their gas tanks when they still have a half tank, or a 1/4 tank. I find it to be totally bizarre.

Unless Im going on a road trip I don’t even consider getting gas until my gas light comes on. C4C68723-C258-40EE-8168-14F82D23C39C.jpeg Why would I? To me getting gas is a total waste of time as a hobby.

Please, enlighten us with your reasoning for getting gas when you do.

When ever but half way is good time, car feels different when nearing empty.

Back in the day it used to be common wisdom that you should never let your tank get below a quarter tank.

The reason was that the gas wasn't completely clean, and the bits of sediment would gather at the bottom of the tank. And if you let your gas get too low then it would start using up that gas at the bottom of the tank and the sediment would end up in your engine.

I have no idea if that was true or not. It seems like it would depend on the car model and their system of getting the gas out of the tank.

I go to Costco once a week and fill up after I get my groceries regardless of tank status. Very rarely do I need to fill up between Costco trips unless I'm driving a lot that week like a holiday season or day trip

Until the second part of the last sentence, I was under the impression that the only time you ever leave your house is to go to Costco.
