My new year resolution was to find love... Or well, a long term dating that would lead to a stable and healthy relationship...
To my long list of things potential lovers don't like about me, I had to add... MMA...
How you all handle/manage it?
I don't want to stop the training, because I feel better after the time I have spend on it and while I would for no reason, fight with a date, they seem to see it as "dangerous" and I surely don't think so, I don't think practicing a contact sport makes you dangerous :l
And of course I have meet a few that want me to grapple them and submit them lol
But not only I bet I can't lol The idea of being objectified that way made me awkward, also I want a stable relationship lol Advice? I put a disclaimer on the dating profiles?

Why not date a MMA or BJJ chick? I don’t do either but at my local gyms it’s like people find each other’s husband/wife lmao.

No fear of carbon monoxide poisoning?

Nope , crack a couple of windows , air circulating, check exhaust isn't clogged etc. There's normally plenty of blankets, warm clothes, food and fluids in the car so it would only get restarted if it got really cool.

I’m a fighter with a lot of love to give u baby…Come over here and bend over.

Meet me behind the gym bro

My taxes are pretty simple, but I've been using Turbo Tax for several years now and I couldn't be happier with it. There are also tiers you can pay for if you need assistance. I used to go to H&R Block and I feel like I was getting ripped off now.
I think my taxes are simple too except for one part.

I dabble in the stock market and at one point I was trying to figure out which brokerage I liked the best, so I created accounts for webull, Robinhood, E-Trade, TD Ameritrade, and vanguard, and discovered I like some parts of each one so I ended up keeping them all.

So entering data from all my trades over the year will be a little bit of a hassle. But I don't have any side hustles and I'm not a landlord so other than the stock trading piece, I'm a simple man.

Depends on what I’m driving. Suburban has a 40 gallon tank so it feels more expensive to fill it up. Also like to keep it full since it’s my bov.

El Camino fuel gauge isn’t accurate and depending on how many burnouts or how much ass I’ve been hauling the mpg can vary a lot. Best to top it off every few trips just in case.

I try to remember by a third or more. It's just good survival prepping. I don't want the air raid siren to go off and be waiting in line for a pump.

When the light goes on most often.
I never top off or try and make an even dollar amount. That’s not good practice.

Almost every morning at about 10 am. Sometimes I'm below a quarter sometimes I'm over half, but my job is to drive and I always go into things prepared.

I live in the Northern US. I don't like to let the fuel level get below 1/2 tank. While the fuel tank vapor systems are better now, if the air in the fuel tank is damp, it can form frost on the inside of the tank when the temperature drops. Another reason I keep the tank full in the winter is the extra weight it provides helps increase traction. Having the tank full also minimizes the fuel sloshing in the tank. Depending on the orientation of the tank, the fuel can slosh from side to side if you make a sideways move and can add to the car swaying. Another reason to keep the fuel level up in the winter is so the remote start works.

Most vehicles have electric fuel pumps inside the fuel tank. They are in the tank because the fuel is used to cool the pump. The more fuel in the tank, the more surface area there is providing heat transfer. Once the level is below 1/4 tank, the pump is no longer submerged in the fuel and it can shorten pump life, especially in hot weather.

The deeper the fuel is in the tank, the less the fuel at the very bottom of the tank moves around so the less likely it is to move anything that has settled to the bottom of the tank.

Another reason I like to keep the tank at least 1/2 full is in case something happens so I can't get gasoline, like a power outage or a gas shortage. Even when driving in good weather, it's possible to get caught in a traffic jam where you might sit for a couple of hours due to an accident so I still like to keep at least 1/4 of a tank.

This place so hard up for traffic they had to move threads here?
A Mayberry lounge is a good idea for people who just want to check in and say whats up without having to have a particular subject matter.

But, having threads moved here makes this place seem jumbled and incoherent.

I'm also concerned that if benign topics (guy invented a drink, is a renting a hot tub a bad ideas, when is the best time to fill up your car, etc.) are not allowed to be threads, then I'm concerned that Mayberry will turn into a de facto "Doom and Gloom" forum filled with discussions of infidelity, job loss, and depression.
