Matches to make after Makhachev vs Moicano

Also Danas statements are 60% bullshit on post fight pressers. But it's entertaining so we watch anyways
Yeah but y'know he wouldnt have said that if he wasn't pissed at Arman. I believe that's what's he wants to do. But if they can't find a fight they like better who knows?

Yeah but hasn't Arman turned down the fight twice before? Now he pulls out? Dana is probably fucking furious and thinks Arman's pussy hurts.

I don't know about twice but he did turn it down after 300. Would've been a 7 week turnaround which is absolutely ridiculous in this context.

Lets see. Will be interesting to hear the extent of the injury. I'll hold off on kicking the guy until then lol

It could be bullshit but this is what Islam said back in April.

"I'm not surprised [he turned it down] because this guy talks about rematch all his life, but... This is maybe the 3rd or 4th time UFC gave him a chance to fight me and he said no... The UFC told me 'We give you opponent after UFC 300' I knew if Arman beat Oliveira he [would] never take this fight."

Yeah well, he crapped on Whittaker too until the x rays showed up. Said Amanda Nunes would never headline a UFC event again etc... Post weigh in pull outs were never popular but it is what it is.

Good thing Dana doesn't get what he wants anyways. Isn't Ankalaev getting the next shot?

Lets see what happens lol. LW seriously out of options.

Sometimes when a fight is delayed, like Ank vs Poatan was, people actually want it more when they finally get it. I think that's the case here. Some people want to see it precisley because it kept getting put off.

I don't think Makhachev's opponent will be decided soon
If Gaethje beats Hooker easily, he might get the shot
If Holloway has a good performance at 155 (vs Oliveira?), he could also get the shot
Even Paddy beating someone like Chandler could give him a shot

For the people saying Charles should not be next, then who??? Seriously tho, who? Arman? If Arman isn't penalized for pulling out then he makes sense but nobody else and Oliveira arguably won the Arman fight, was super close.

Oliveira already beat Poirier, Gaethje and Chandler, not to mention those 3 are coming off losses. Holloway is a 145er that just got tko'd, Hooker sucks and already lost to Islam as well so.... WHO!!??? Oliveira is the only option.

It wasn't about the time dude. He didn't wanna pass up fighting at UFC 300. Islam fought at 302, a card that sucked in name power. Big difference in exposure/money. What's hard to get? You say believe me but where are you getting it from?

Charles talked about this situation leading up to the fight.
I got It from all Brazilian media and what Charles was saying in portuguese here at the time.
Im not talking about Fair, Im talking about what happened.
When Charles got the belt he wanted a money fight with the leprechaun. It obviously didnt happened.

Outside of that Charles would never want "more exposure" on a 3 rounder in the middle of the card.
The real money would be getting the belt and having access tô ppv points again.
Makes no Sense that he would prefer this fight only because It was on 300, Charles is already an established name.

Im curious where you Saw Charles talking about this situation and If It was something Lost on translation.

BTW, Im not arguing that It must be Charles over Arman.. I was arguing that It was what I was expecting tô happen tô Arman since the same happened tô Charles. Dana's press Just confimed It and he used the same argument with Arman that he had used with Charles.
Charles had his shot but couldnt make It, got earn another one.
Obviously he's always lying and changes his criteria as his will goes.. but thats How It went

Islam/Oliveira 2 over Tsarukyan makes no sense to me. If Tsarukyans back isn't severely fucked up, just book it for the summer?
Nah, punishments must be dealt out. You don't pull out on weigh in day and we all know damn well he didn't have a freak back injury the day of if Khabib fuckin knew the day before.

Lot of good matchups there. I think someone should tell Holland he isn't a MW. He should be fighting at WW. Also, his trainer should tell him this is about winning and not just showing up and having fun. I like the Vettori vs de Ridder but Marvin has been MIA. You're and Ithink you're right with the Islam vs Oliveira matchup next. Unfortunately, I don't think there is anyone in the division that can beat Islam besides Arman even though I favor Islam in that fight. I think Ilia is coming for the fight soon.

Agree, people need to stop talking about Charles fighting for champ, it makes me depressed and LW look really bad if they make that fight. Olivera pulled out just like Arman and changed the the course of two divisions and now Arman's pullout is going to do the same. LW might be joining LHW, and HW if Islam moves up because of the lack of competition. I am sure Dana thinks about these things and Olivera needs to fight down or rematch Arman which Arman already said he wanted for some reason. UFC needs to get LW and LHW back on track, hopefully everything works out. For the record I don't want to see Alex vs Jiri 3 and I am not watching Olivera vs Islam 2, the fact that Olivera is even in the conversation is mind blowing considering how his Islam rematch pullout fucked the whole division up and he lost to Arman even while doing illegal headkicks of a downed apponent. UFC has some work to do or things are going to get weird as soon as this summer.

Makhachev vs the next guy who does something big (maybe the winner of Hooker vs Gaethje if there is a KO, Holoway if he has a masterclass with a top guy, or Paddy if he beats a top 5-6 guy)
Moicano vs Paddy
Dvalishvili vs Pantoja, both guys lack contenders right now
Nurmagomedov vs Petr Yan, which could enable to have O'Malley vs Sandhagen
Prochazka vs Blachowicz in Central Europe
Hill vs R3
Almeida vs Gane
Spivac vs winner of Rozenstruik vs Gaziev
RdR vs Hermansson
Kevin Holland vs Bryan Battle, somewhere between WW and MW
Barcelos vs Cody Garbrandt
Talbott vs Rinya Nakamura
Gafurov vs Victor Henry
Bekoev vs Marco Tulio, both are good prospects
Zach Reese vs Potiera, loser leaves the UFC
Guskov vs Anthony Smith
Elekana vs Brundage
Dawson vs Benoit Saint-Denis
Ferreira vs Ismael Bonfim in Brazil (maybe a retirement fight for Ferreira)
Ailin Perez vs loser of Vieira vs Chiasson
Rosa vs Melissa Mullins
Sopaj vs Brad Katona, in a European card
Turcios vs Argueta 2, loser leaves the UFC
Ulanbekov vs Alex Perez, I am sure it was booked in the past
Carpenter vs Jafel Filho
