Manny Pacquio vs David Diaz plus Fields/Barrett Tonight on PPV

I don't believe I've ever heard somebody drop so many F-bombs yet at the same time, be so friggin classy in defeat.

That's refreshing to say the least.

He's got that LaMotta likability to him, and it's funny that he was compared to Jake. David seems like a guy you can see on HBO, but have a drink in a Pub and drop some f-bombs with after, while he's still swole and stitched up.

The broadcast sucked hard... I can't wait for the replay next week. Pac looked great from all the jitter and streaming problems. Lol.

That right jab is looking hot. He mixing up his combinations real well now. "There ain't no stoppin' me now!"

really thou is pac on something?,he is amazing. It just does not make sense.106,112,122,126,130,135 hell it should be 5 world titles becasue he never got a belt at 126 but clearly he was the best feather at the time

He didn't do anything Arguello didn't.

Best Pacquiao I've seen ever. He was just fuckin fast man, moving around Diaz like Diaz was a heavy bag.

But man, Diaz impressed me. He was just receiving lefts and rights from Pac and didn't even back down until he went out on the ninth.

if hatton and pac fight at 140 it could an epic battle

Two factors:

Pacquiao has carried his speed with him. Though his stopping power is not as great as 126 version, his speed alone can still catch people unexpected and deck them (see 9th round of diaz fight).

Hatton has lost a step or two since Mayweather gave him a beating. He looked horrible in his last fight against the Hispanic causing panic. And he is a career 135.

*There two factors give pacquiao a good chance in beating hatton

LaMotta's likeable?

Ah, I'm just kidding, but yeah, I caught the references by Manny comparing Diaz to Jake, and also caught a few Dempsey references from Lampley to Pacquiao.

Needless to say, I enjoyed those quite a bit.

i wouldn't mind watching david fight again

Let's say Pac fights another good contender or champ at 135 and beats him. Goes up to 140 and beats Hatton. Where would you put pacquiao in the boxing historical outline?

i have no idea, 7 damn weight classes?

makes Mayweather look incompetent though Mayweather is still better p4p in my mind

Don't you recall the broadcasts of "The Way It Was"...? I think that's what it was called. Jake was the most charming guy on the set of that when they reviewed the footage of he and Robinson. Sugar Ray was as personable as dry toast, despite being nice for the show. But yeah, likeable in that he curses a lot and will probably smack ya around a bit way.

It'd put him right up there with the Azumah Nelsons and Arguellos of the World.

Funny thing is I still wouldn't say he's hands-down a better fighter than Elorde was. Elorde was putting a whoopin' on Saddler before being stopped via cut. Saddler was everything Pac's never faced, taller, longer, bomber, DIRTEH.

Pac is an alltime great no doubt, he might end up in the top 10 before he's done.

sorry for the offtopic, but reminder: k-1 is less than two hours away(11pm pacific). you all should watch it if you get the chance, there's a tournament tonight and some other incredible fights along with it!

as for manny, i'm still blown away at how fast he was tonight. i was watching it with someone who knows nothing about boxing and she thought he was cheating somehow because he was so much faster
