I think he can do it. He consistently takes good fighters down and dominates them there. I don't think there is a fighter in WW division who can completely shut down Demian's grappling.

Not to be a stickler but the 16 win number thrown around for Anderson is because he holds the record for winning 16 consecutive UFC fights.....consecutive.
 
Great fighter indeed, not the most exciting to the majority but very technical on the ground.

WW has too many guys I like. I definitely think Maia could win the belt but I want Thompson to fight for the belt as well. Plus Robbie is an awesome champ.

Always been one of the best divisions by far.

I love Maia and Wonderboy, they are both awesome specialists in their respective disciplines. I'd love and hate to see them fight each other.
 
Maia deserves a big name. The only big names he has had at WW so far were Rory and Shields and he lost to both. He also lost to Munoz(although that was at MW i think). Maybe he should stay away from wrestlers. Glad with the Brown matchup.

Robbie KO's him in 2 rounds easy. Everyone hates one dimensional strikers, but because his one skill is jitz, the hipsters here cream their pants.
 
Will win the title if the brass ever gives him the shot.
