Sending him out there knowing he wont get a rematch if he loses is certainly a choice by his team. He's one of those guys like Belal etc where you get to the belt you have to do everything in your power to keep it cause you might never get another shot.

Yeah UFC would be pissed if he pulled out three weeks before this event but so what, its better than losing and now your career is shit cause they aint gonna be in any rush to send you back into another title fight. I can't believe they are really sneaking broken ribs past the medical examiners. I can believe a lot these guys get bruised ribs from all the wear and tear of training but actually broken ribs, which can puncture a lung if not treated, doubt it.

I doubt Ank is lying just like Alex was not lying. Dude these guys always just say what they feel and what they are going to do and the concept is so foreign to people everyone thinks its a grift. The first fight was really close and everyone in the top 5 is at such a high level it only takes small issue to completely change the fight.

However: I don't think anyone beats Alex if he fights like he did Saturday night, that really was scary and I almost felt bad for Ank.

IMO: The reason why Khamzat and Alex is kinda of interesting is because both at times seem like they can't be beaten.
