I always wonder why fighter's choose "a percentage" to estimate that they weren't at their optimal best - why not just be vague and say "I wasn't at my best that night" and no one can really begrudge you for saying so since it's so open to interpretation?

Instead they choose some completely arbitrary made-up percentage that gives the inference that they fought crippled or so far below their standard they should've pulled out.

Just such unique copium that is unique to combat sports.

You math is flawed. Pepera's striking defense would increase by 60% as well reducing generic muslim's effectiveness.

Pereira and Izzy have shit grappling and they would have gotten demolished by Chimaev. Same thing had they fought when Weidman was in his prime. Rashad and Couture would have dismantled Alex. Young Gsp would have bulked and beat them at mw as well, unlike Silva they look like belly up turtles on the ground. They are one dimensional kickboxers and that’s about it.
