To be fair, some of the more viral right wingers did start calling out some of the big tech bros that have migrated to the MAGA movement. But no real rift with Trump, as Trump has said he supports the program for the most part, tho does want some reform.

I guess I don't know what they're working. 70+hr weeks was my reality at a shitty company that progressively got shitter as time went on. I watched over half the onshore staff quit. Management loved it because it reduced the budget. It wasn't until customers started to complain that no one was around during normal working hours did they try to hire more people. But by then no one wanted to work there so they just brought in a bunch of H1 people. The work the new people produced was C- level stuff. I quit shortly after that.

Its no mistake that Asians are out earning all groups atm. There are cultural things at work. There is a shortage of engineers at least in some fields atm. In America there are cultural differences and we lower standards for some etc. We seem going in the wrong direction at times. You don't see as many Asians taking basket weaving in college or getting liberal arts degrees. Don't disagree on long hours unless you are young and up and coming. Life is definitely a balance

I agree we should be doing things better with STEM and a focus on education. But I think people are starting to wake up to useless college degrees. My personal experience with H1 is it isn't about a shortage of qualified people.

Woah... noice! I went to Taiwan 4 times over the years and it was amazing. You ever go?

H1 work better when they are educated here. Don't know a lot of H1 brought directly over though I only speak from experience. Outsourcing seems like the strategy in that case. H1 can be good if looking for educated consumers to be citizens but def not just bringing them over. Never heard of stocking a company with H1 bc there is always legal fees to be paid etc.
