I am likely going to get flamed big time but to me Wolverine-X-Men origins is the best out of all the Wolverine movies. Just saw it again last night and still loved it.
I have now lost all faith in the future of the human race.

Im out!

That's so terrible...

I don't what the hell they were thinking with this shit
I actually like the movie overall, but the ending really drags it down. If it's just him going to get the kids out, and battling Sabretooth again and getting the best of him, and then getting shot and losing his memory, it's pretty solid.

I haven't seen the film I just meant what they did with Deadpool.

It's like casting Jordan in a Space Jam and having him playing a serious role as pencil pusher who only plays backyard backyard on a kids hoop throughout the film.

The movie had good pacing and the different segments of the movie were tied in seamlessly. Integration of Sabretooth , and Logan getting his Adamantium , was also convincing , even though the script only devoted little time to the Adamantium segment.

that makes perfect sense. I've read your opinion on other things, too

Can't say I was very impressed. Kind of a thin plotline, and very derivative. Too many 1990's Luc Besson and Mad Max influences. The blood and gore and profanities, and even the superhero stuff, felt tacked on. Basically road movie no 1000. That's a big fat 6/10 y'all.

Did the setup of the movie affect you in any way? I watched all the X-men movies again before I went and saw Logan. This was a major annoyance for me in Logan.

Ah yeah, something that came up when I was talking about the film with a friend:

Why the fuck does Laura quote Shane at the funeral? That film was important to Charles cos he saw it as a young man. It didn't mean fuck all to Logan and, they are trying to make out like it is a poignant moment?

It was a lame callback to earlier in the film, at best.

Oh and, cos someone else mentioned it earlier, I tried to watch Origins again I think 2 days after I saw Logan? That film is a mess and a half, lol. Jeez, i'd forgotten how bad it was.

Just saw this. Pretty crazy movie. They definitely use the R rating lol.

Not really a super hero movie which was a bummer but it had good action. A past prime Wolverine was sad to watch cuz I knew a prime Wolverine would waste all those fools.

8/10

I am also convinced that Logan's "so this is what it feels like" quote is directed at dying.
The guy is almost 200yo. He has killed hundreds, if not thousands, of people over that time, he has watched family, friends, and lovers pass, and has contemplated suicide more than once, and very seriously lately. He has known fear, pain, love, remorse, and everything in between. The only thing he hasn't experienced, the only thing that would be new to him would be death.
I dont know much about Wolverines back ground but the impression i got was that he never knew what it felt like saving someone he cared for since everyone dies on him

Just watched it. I feel like the build up was great but the ending was a little underwhelming. Was expecting some big emotional scene and it was a pretty standard ending. Still a good movie overall but maybe a bit overated imho.

You're killing me.

That ending made the movie.
