Yesterday he even plagiarized Roger Ebert's review and passed it off as his own "ultra unique" opinion.

I don't think any of that shit matters since it's comic book stuff and not movie X-Men stuff.

Movie Logan already experienced dying. But not having a real family. I mean yeah he was part of the X-Men but that's not the same thing as having a daughter.
"There is more to being a father than making a baby" - Maury Povich or some shit.
I hardly think meeting your clone for 5 days imparts the feeling of family love.

It's almost like you didn't watch the movie.

I thought it was pretty clear there was family love established in the movie, the question was over that particular line.

Lol 1 and 2 got a 1 and 2.
<{shaqs}>

Story was compelling, I loved caliban, but not his sniffing, but it had so many of those shitty foxisms that it made me want to puke my own poo out of my peehole.

Interesting. I thought this was nothing like a Fox movie. It felt more real than all of them combined.

The Clones' powers were kinda lame/ Foxy, but if this were typical Fox stuff then the Reavers would have looked like they had Dyson's for arm attachments, Charles wheelchair would have looked like something made in Minecraft, there would have been 4 more villains, 6 more heroes, and it X-23 would have had undefinable explosion powers.

Wow. i honestly think that level of plagiarism should be ban worthy. That is real sad.

Suggestion Dragon. You should edit in a 'plagiarism warning' to that thread because even though it is closed someone could find it via search and think he wrote it. If you do not go to page 2 you do not know.

Compared to most superhero movies it was good, but that ain't saying much. Compared to any truly great movies, it wasn't that. The chemistry between Logan & Prof X was great, the best thing in the movie. The R-rated Wolverine claws going into faces was immensely satisfying, the way that character's violence should have always been portrayed. The plot however, and most of the other characters surrounding them, added up to a mediocre pile of meh. Which made the film drag. Still, was worth seeing just for the positives I mentioned.

What a great movie. Had my feels on edge the entire time. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. They didn't waste a minute of this movies runtime.

Logan is exactly the film I wanted. Stylishly violent, thoughtful, and poignant.

I mentioned way earlier in the thread how much I loved the piano theme used during the chase but good lord was the entire score for this film amazing and fit each scene to perfection.

When this kicks in after the battle at the farmhouse I got chills.

I guess I latch on to certain things that are always in a fox film. Wolvie getting his ass kicked in every fight before he wins. He's f'in wolverine. Why can't he just kick ass without getting the shit kicked out of him? Oh yeah, fox needs to show an fx scene of his healing power.

Every mutant needs to ramp up ability and enemies stand around doing jack shit looking at mutant instead of killing them. Blink opening portals, storm flying, Mexican kid throwing tank. Fx sucks donkey dick.
All I know is if a mutant is concentrating real hard on something that is meant to cause me bodily harm, I'm breaking that concentration asap.

Having said that, loved the 1st act. 2nd act was good, too.

I saw it today and I went in expecting a masterpiece.

solid 7/10.

Definitely not a "game changer"

first of all i was heavily disappointment with the use of the R rating. Yes we got to hear "fuck" and see wolverine kill people without the quick cut-aways, but I wanted to see some darker themes explored. In my opinion, the way Dark Knight pushed PG-13 is way more impressive to me than how Logan pushed R.

With all the "fucks" and blood, I didn't see anything in logan that came close to the pencil scene or Harvey Dent's mental breakdown in TDK.

Also, a lot of the characters were pretty flat. Actually, the only ones who werent were logan and PROF X. and that is only because they've been in like 10 other films.

Not to say it isn't a good movie, but I don't see it as a game changer. If anything TDK and deadpool both did similar things before this movie did.

Why would you expect a masterpiece from "Logan", of all films?
