Lmao this thread has to be a fucking troll. Just because the dude doesn't have any clean knockouts doesn't mean he has no power. Quite the contrary. Fighters feel his power and avoid it at all cost and try not to get knocked out, hence lose the fight at some point. Knockouts have a lot to do with hitting the perfect spot at the perfect time, not just power.

Also TKO's sometimes are just TKO's because the ref stopped it too early or too late and the fighter either had no chance to get truly KO'd or woke up from a KO due to follow-up punches. Not sure how much of Costa's TKO's fit in that category but I'm sure some do.

Nah dudes got bombs, maybe not so much past round 1, but you can't fuck with 12 finishes in a row before the 3rd round even starts.

He is way more technical than people think. In the romero fight when he was pressing he was still slipping romeros strikes and blocking them high even into the 3rd. Dudes a work horse and even by the 3rd round he still looked pretty good. I think Izzy has a hard fight against Costa to be honest, Izzy chins a bit more than he lets on. Kelvin and Romero both landed on the button against him.

This is the thing though, it's much more of a level test fight for Costa than for Israel. We both agree that Costa is technical but he is going against the highest level technician in the striking department.

We know what Israel is capable of, anyone who wants to do their homework has years and years of film study on him. With Costa it's still a question mark. Honestly this is probably the worst stylistic matchups for Costa and I would be impressed if he keeps it competitive and close, let alone wins.

Yoel and Kelvin are a bit faster and harder to time when they are on. Costa has more of a basic approach that Israel is familiar with. They're both tough SOBs do it should be an epic battle.

Costa is a good striker but just looking at the evidence and facts, Paulo isn't even one of the top 5 one hitter quitters at 185.

List of one hitter quitters ahead of Costa in no particular order ...

The only 2 big names he fought are Hall and Romero and by the way both of them lost so many times especially Romero who is on a 3 or 4 fight losing streak and Costa has the biggest Chance to shock the WHOLE WORLD on September 26 and become the new MW Champion

Costa's opponents are quite literally in fear when they are in the cage with him and Adesanya will be too. They are only in defense mode when he bullies them against the cage and goes down because they fear getting knocked out, we saw that with Uriah Hall for example. He's also one of the only fighters that seem to understand that punches to the body can be even more effective than to the head at times, so he doesn't only headhunt.
