Let's Talk About Paulo Costa's Overrated Power...Again!!!

IDK I've been a pretty hard Costa skeptic, but that head kick in the second would've KO'd anybody who doesn't have a cinderblock for a head like Vettori does.

I still agree that Costa was grossly overhyped as a one strike killer based on his aesthetic and is actually more of an accumulation finisher, but I do think that he has super respectable power and can tune a lot of people up at LHW given the speed that he showed on his kicks yesterday.

IMO He'll have a decent run at 205.

The guy absolutley has power. Vettori's defense was solid most of the fight,but just blocking that shit must have hurt alot.

He is Anthony Joshua of the middleweight division. People conflated his juicy ripped bronze body with power, when the reality is power comes in all types of shapes and sizes, it is God given, whether it be lanky Julian Jackson or Deontay Wilder or boxy Ernie Shavers and Andy Ruiz.

He just needs to set up his shots. He is quick enough to get away with it,but just imagine what could happen if he set up some of those body/head kicks instead of just shooting them out there.
