Some of these drugs can be stopped in their tracks like they did with qualudes in the 80's. But there too much money to be made from fentanyl and meth.
Making billions over prescribing Oxy happened between then and now. The game changed. Some of these drugs can be stopped in their tracks like they did with qualudes in the 80's. But there too much money to be made from fentanyl and meth.

I feel bad for people who actually need it for unbearable chronic pain.
Back in the 90s ecstacy was like the crazy drug you could get and it wasn't easily accessible then. People were still doing LSD back then. Does anyone even make or take LSD anymore? I feel like with all of the crazy shit made on labs now, LSD is child's play.Fentanyl scares the shit out of me. I was in high school in the 90s. We used to take random shit. I'm fairly certain I'd have ODed or died. I suppose potentially our outlook would've been different if that was common. I'm not so sure though. Oxys became a big problem in the early 2000s and we all were still partying like crazy. I guess I'm fortunate that alcohol took over for us although that became a problem too.
Most of the restrictions on prescription pain medication that were implemented during the prescription opiate epidemic have been rolled back now. While doctors are now very wary of over prescribing and potentially catching charges, there's no federal restrictions or guidelines like it once was. The hoops legitimate, chronic pain sufferers had to jump through were fucking oppressive.Making billions over prescribing Oxy happened between then and now. The game changed.

Looks better after
