Let's talk about Fentanyl.

There are a lot of zombies in my city. Pretty sad. Walk by them and they are almost always smoking something in their pipes.

Many of them leaned over in awkward angles.

I read that it puts them into a 'waking dream state' type of thing where their body is like its asleep (hence the leaning over and weird positions) but their mind is still awake.

I met a dude in rehab that had 13 ODs in 8 days when his favorite dealer got a great pack in

Think about that. The shit was dropping a guy that was a homeless fent addict for like 5+ years. Imagine what it'd do to someone with lower tolerance.

That pack could easily kill 100, 1000, or who knows how many people

Drugs are every where in Canada i live in a part where it's legal, seeing the heroin use has been eye opening most of the time it's smoked. Fentanyl is everywhere in Vancouver and most of it being in the states has came from here and China originally. Police arrest some who deal it and beat them brutally for it prices being sky high to live here has made everything worse including drug use...

What fentanyl does to people is scary zombie-like, shallow breathing, the withdrawl is even scarier.
Not to mention benzo's and horse tranq being added to something already so dangerous. Quite sad.

It's trash it's not worth it. Much better than that sheeiT out there

No one wants Fentanyl.

They want cocaine, but cocaine is expensive.

Drug dealers in poor areas get cocaine, dilute it with baking soda, caffeine powder, and lidocaine, then add a small amount of fentanyl to increase the potency and addictiveness. People die when their batch got more fentanyl than intended.

If anyone really wanted to stop the Fentanyl crisis, they would just legalize and regulate cocaine.

I did some coke a couple years ago at a family party in Stockton that I think mighta been cut with fentanyl, I've done coke socially since the 90's and I have never felt so weird and out of it in a scary way like I was that night
Kind of why I stopped doing coke period. I regretted doing coke every single time I came down anyways but the fent situation just made me say I'm done. Anytime they ask now I just say I'm good.

Lost my cousin 5 years ago. She was beautiful, smart and rich. Got hooked on Vicodin after back surgery. She owned a high end hair salon and had pain. They ended her RX and she asked her friends to get her pills. 1st one she took killed her. All fent. Left behind 3 kids and a great life. This is truly evil stuff. I know people laugh at "Say No To Drugs" campaigns, and "This is your brain on drugs". But when I was a kid, I was scared to try drugs. In the mid to late 90s those programs were gone. Now we do nothing to scare kids. I remember them telling us if you did Crack just 1 time, your life was over. It was never even a thought.

The issue is it wasn't really effective because kids are dumb/not fully developed and don't understand risk the same way an adult does.

The other issue is that it caused kids to vastly overestimate how many people their age was doing drugs and effectively normalized the taboo because they thought everyone else was doing drugs.

A running trend I have seen on this youtube channel with addicts is that they all became perpetually scared of getting something with fent in it. There is so much of it out there and it is cheap that heroin is disappearing.
I remember when they were cutting heroin with fentanyl because fentanyl was cheaper and stronger than heroin

Addicts would still buy it on the street though since it'll be cheaper.

There is absolutely a fentanyl market out here, people buy it knowing exactly what it is and snort it, smoke it and inject it cause its a cheap strong high
I know a guy that died from smoking it sprinkled on weed

I have been prescribed Fentanyl before.

50, 75 and I think 150 mcg patches.

That is one of the only opiate pain meds that has given me the nods and rolled my eyes back. That shit has some kick to it.

As a person with actual legitimate well documented chronic pain, I am the person that gets punished for every junky fuck that abuses this type of shit, so fucking thanks for that.

That makes sense but I heard so much about fent related deaths that I would be afraid of losing my customers if I was a dealer. Can't sell to people if they're dead. But I guess if I was capable of thinking long term, I woudn't be a drug dealer.

I'm also surprised people are using with this going around. I'd be too scared. But then again, I guess addicts don't think logically.

Wanna hear something fucked up?

When people OD... that actually triggers the market becuase that means they have the good shit.

There's a junkie born every day, the drug problem is growing faster than the customers are dropping.

You (i presume) are looking thru the lens of a rational human being. ... they are not.

Drugs like Fentanyl are the leading cause of death in the US for young Americans. I"ve seen Trump has been trying to get Canada, Mexico and China to secure their borders better, stop or slow down the drug smuggling. Hope he succeeds.

NEW: Trump Follows Through on Holding Canada, Mexico, and China Accountable, Signs EO

Countries are going to start learning that when the Trump administration makes a pledge to do something, it's as good as done. As we wrote on Friday, President Donald Trump hinted that tariffs on Canada, Mexico, and China would be on their way within hours.

On Saturday, Pres. Trump signed an executive order to impose tariffs on the three countries, in an effort to press them to take responsibility for their part in causing both the fentanyl crisis in our country, and the illegal alien influx at U.S. borders.....

You had me at Stockton

One of my besties croaked from a fentanyl OD about 2 yrz ago. I thinking he was hitting it on purpose too. And although I've certainly not asked his parents exactly about this (he was at his mom's house i think) from what I've heard he didn't go easy. They speculated burst appendix at first because the amount of pain, its not like he just fell asleep. RIP Austin...
