Let's talk about Fentanyl.

Some of these drugs can be stopped in their tracks like they did with qualudes in the 80's. But there too much money to be made from fentanyl and meth.

Making billions over prescribing Oxy happened between then and now. The game changed.

I feel bad for people who actually need it for unbearable chronic pain.

Louis CK wrote a joke about obvious but maybe.
Sure pain is unbearable but maybe they were meant to die.
Jk I don't want to feed that.

Fentanyl scares the shit out of me. I was in high school in the 90s. We used to take random shit. I'm fairly certain I'd have ODed or died. I suppose potentially our outlook would've been different if that was common. I'm not so sure though. Oxys became a big problem in the early 2000s and we all were still partying like crazy. I guess I'm fortunate that alcohol took over for us although that became a problem too.
Back in the 90s ecstacy was like the crazy drug you could get and it wasn't easily accessible then. People were still doing LSD back then. Does anyone even make or take LSD anymore? I feel like with all of the crazy shit made on labs now, LSD is child's play.

Fast acting, non lasting. No euphoria generally associated with an opiate high. Where traditional opiate withdrawal symptoms occur 24-72 hrs after last dose, withdrawals start after mere hours of last dose of fent. Hence the reason it originally made it's way into the recreational, non opiate drug cutting agent.

Most of the restrictions on prescription pain medication that were implemented during the prescription opiate epidemic have been rolled back now. While doctors are now very wary of over prescribing and potentially catching charges, there's no federal restrictions or guidelines like it once was. The hoops legitimate, chronic pain sufferers had to jump through were fucking oppressive.

Drugs-NOT-EVEN-ONCE-
Looks better after

Late 90s for me, and yes, LSD was big. I think I ate it about 5-6 times in high school days. Never ate shrooms then. In college (early 2000s), it was all about shrooms. Also in the late 90s, DXM became popular. You could order it pure online. That was like the ghetto way to get high.

Pills were another big thing. Xanax was the biggest around us because it was prescribed a lot. Luckily, I was out of that shit by the time oxys became big.

I'm no expert on the topic, but how much does secondary exposure to fentanyl affect someone? Let's say you'l walk by someone smoking it or residual powder blowed away and you inhaled it, especially if it's a kid...
