They should give him the nickname "Quick" or something.
thank you for spiking my coffee with this line, sir. *chuckled*

Thanks, I thought there was another but couldn't remember whoMarc Goddard as well
Think of the scenario where Hoost would have fought... that would have been weird.
Hoost may have kicked the entire mandible offYou mean watching Hoost kick all of Telei Tuli's teeth out instead of just the one tooth Gerdeau kicked out?
Cause Gracie woulda submitted Hoost just like the rest of them, so that would have looked the same.
Didn't know this, this explain his surprisingly deep kicking game.Antonio Big Foot Silva began training Karate at age 4, receiving his black belt by age 12. He continued to train Karate until the age of 17, when he began studying Brazilian JiuJitsu and Judo.
James TeHuna got his UFC contract on the back of a tournament win over Anthony Perosh in Australia, but he should have been DQed in that win.
He KOed Perosh with punches and then after the referee stopped the fight and had separated them, TeHuna muscled his way back to Perosh and stomped on his head.
Not only was it way after the separation, but head stomps (or any kicks to the head of a downed opponent) are also illegal under the rules of that state.
The video is up on youtube and the headstomp is conveniently edited out.
It's the reason I'll never tire of this gif. Artistic credit to @Zombie Prophet and Mauricio Rua.

Yeah but if you actually watch his later fights he had completely lost it.Lol, this Jake O'Brien dude has a 15-4 record. His losses are against....
Cain, Jones, Arlovski and Mousassi... Seems like a pretty solid dude who had some tough love in matchups.
This is awesome, best I've read so far. Imagine Hoost in UFC 1.Gerard Gordeau competed in UFC 1 and made it to the final, but he wasn't their first choice. He only participated because he was from the same gym as the man the originally wanted to compete: Ernesto Hoost. The UFC couldn't afford him, so they went with Gordeau.
Wow, I knew Gunnar was a gun grappler, but didn't know about this. That is so impressive, and makes Maia's performance against Gunnar even more impressive than it already was.Gunnar Nelson defeated Jeff Monson (legit HW and BJJ black belt) in 2009 ADCC tournament despite huge weight discrepancy.
Nice deduction bruh but that's not at all what I'm trying to say, I'm saying that it's insane that a scrub like Sapp could TKO a kickboxing legend like Hoost not only once (which could be considered a fluke) but twice under K-1 rules which heavily favor Hoost
Oh my bad, you're right, not just UFC.
Brock actually won the title on his 3rd UFC fight, just like Holly, so they're tied in that regard.
Anderson Silva won the title in his second ufc fight. Think that's the quickest
Pat Smith from UFC 1 knocked out Andy fucking Hug.
Juliana Pena won the the belt in her first UFC fight
