Media Leon says he will NOT sign contract vs. Colby Covington

Seeing a lot of talk about him angling for Masvidal, but does anyone really see him getting past Burns? I'm sure Leon finds Mas winning just as unlikely as the rest of us.

If you're saying that Leon didn't prove he could stay busy, then I'm not sure why I wrote facts for you to ignore, because he agreed to 6 different fights in a 20 month period that his opponents regularly couldn't show up to. Leon was right at the cusp of a title shot. Colby's off the back end of his. Leon tried to fight, Colby isn't.

Colby didn't "take his ball and go home". He fought 4 months after his title fight, and that was a year ago. Leon took a 14 month break after beating Nate Diaz and got a title shot.

The other guy people have just in the last 5 minutes tried to pretend is some rightful #1 contender is Belal, for beating Sean Brady apparently. Nobody thinks he'd beat anybody ranked above him, or Shavkat ranked below him. Plus, they can't charge money to watch Leon vs Belal, and putting a title fight on prelims is a bad look.

It's not the skin color. It's the fact that they're American.

Gifting Jones an ideal stylistic matchup in Gane. Why not give him Blaydes? OR EVEN STIPE? Oh because it'd cancel out the Americans.

Gifting Hill an undeserved title shot. - Glover refused to fight on short notice. Jan & Ank went to a draw, the division was kind of in a weird spot. Hill was also on a nice finish streak.

Jones ATG deserved to fight for a vacant title. Stipe wouldn't sign to fight him.

None of your foreign butt buddies are beating Jones, so what's your point? They'd have to fight Jones at some point. And Hill was clearly deserving of the shot, he beat the shit of out him lol which Jan (a foreigner) couldn't. It's a nonsense argument your making my friend.

Both Leon and Colby got sucker punched by masvidal. Why should that be Leon's excuse. You gotta clean out the division to start calling shots. Leon ain't there yet.

Hill got his title shot because they already had a title fight between a Polish guy and a Dagestani guy and didn't get a winner, and the third guy of the 4 was Brazilian.

Izzy also gets an immediate rematch, Usman got an immediate rematch, Conor gets to fight whoever he wants. None of these guys are American.

This isn't Americans getting preferential treatment, this is your bias against Americans and then hand picking whatever fits your bias.

Yet many here are saying cobly should get a title shot off decisioning him..if the fight had no time limit they'd still be fighting.

I think he has a very slim punchers chance, he should probably be at least a 4-1 underdog.
