That's how negotiations go. You stick to your position until they move theirs. Then you move yours. Eventually you come to terms.
Some of you guys act like negotiations are not a regular, commonplace part of business transactions. When a client says no to me and we come to terms quickly, it means we negotiated in good faith. If it takes a long time it means we were more opposed than we thought. Sounds like they threw the bag at Leon and he was smart in catching it. Good for him - make that money!
