What the hell is going on America? Even your military is now left-wing cucked? This is getting embarrassing now.

The Royal Marines were able to dominate US forces in a training exercise because the Pentagon is too focussed on culture wars rather than actual fighting, a prominent Republican senator said.

Josh Hawley, who sits on the Senate armed services committee, lambasted the US defence secretary and America's top general after US forces surrendered to the British half way through a simulation in the California desert.

In the wake of the incident Mr Hawley accused the US military leadership under Joe Biden's Democrat administration of being too concerned with having soldiers read about critical race theory and "white rage," instead of proritising war-fighting.

He said it showed that, while the US continued to have the best soldiers in the world, Democrats were turning the military into a "giant social experiment".

During Exercise Green Dagger in the California desert at the end of October, Royal Marines forced US troops to ask for a “reset” half way through, after the Americans suffered significant simulated casualties.

At one point the British “kill board” showed almost every US asset had been destroyed or rendered inoperable.

UK general's advice:

Asked what China's reaction to the British triumph would be, Mr Hawley told Fox News: "They’re probably wondering why it is that people like General Milley and Secretary Austin spend so much time recommending books on white rage, on critical race theory, and are not more focused on war-fighting.

"Here’s my view. We’ve got the best soldiers, airmen, Marines in the entire world. Our soldiers are amazing war fighters. Let them fight.

"Train them to fight. Let them do what they do best. And stop using the military as a giant social experiment, which is what the Left seems to want."

If you're doing a war training exercise with another country with equal forces on both sides, obviously there's a roughly 50% chance the US will lose. It's not that shocking. The US is known as the "military might" country by virtue of quantity and an absolutely massive military budget. Tons of personnel as well, young guys reeled in by the prospect of having free college in a country with poor socioeconomic mobility and dwindling opportunities for advancement. But it doesn't speak at all of the quality of the personnel, training, tactics, etc.

I have been in one "simulation war" or whatever the fuck they are called with marines and we went through them.Simply because i figured all the capable ones were in hot zones back then so all dumbasses did get sent to games hence the bad showing

1. the best troops are rarely involved in exercises like these. allthe tier1 american troops are still tier1 but you don;'t get devgru to do nato exercises.
2. americans regularly get rekt in euro exercises, especially when dealing with brits or nordics. for some reason they are very bad if you stop the navigation coordination. most just tend to huddle in that case.
3. us military is turning into a very bureaucratic engine, more of a government employer than anything. all the "for your safety" bs is just for funds. nobody's attacking america, or looks like it cares to.
4. america isn't really fighting anything. there's more french and russian troops engaged in conflict all over the world than american troops at the moment. so of course you can get trannies and those that identify as owlkin thermoblanket turbobeaver to join.
